Public-Permissioned Architecture
Purpose and design
The Rizenet blockchain is crafted to facilitate a decentralized infrastructure where institutional players can validate and manage interactions with various counterparties, thereby meeting stringent legal obligations and managing risk effectively. To maintain high standards of security and compliance, the deployment of smart contracts is restricted to whitelisted addresses.
Rizenet sets itself apart from other blockchains because it is built specifically for enabling our privacy preserving machine learning infrastructure for tokenized RWA.
Access Control
The Rizenet blockchain is a public-permissioned blockchain designed specifically to make asset tokenization faster and smarter. Built with the Avalanche L1 technology using the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) as the smart contract execution engine. The network can integrate smart contracts with off-chain applications while retaining permissioned deployment controls.
The network architecture distinguishes public chain access from permissioned validator participation and smart-contract deployment.
| Aspect | Description |
|---|---|
| Reading the Blockchain | Public. Anyone can read the blockchain. |
| Sending Transactions | Public. Anyone can submit transactions. |
| Validator Set | Permissioned. Only selected reputable entities can participate as validators. |
| Smart Contract Deployment | Permissioned. Only allowed addresses can deploy smart contracts. |
Rizenet Blockchain Comparison
The Rizenet public-permissioned blockchain is designed to leverage the best aspects of both public and private blockchains, creating an environment where permissioned entities can operate with high transparency, performance, and security. This hybrid model offers a balanced solution for institutions that require controlled access while still benefiting from the decentralization and auditability commonly associated with public blockchains.
